Everyone Loves a Good Picnic

This last week we headed out to one of the neighborhood parks to have a class picnic. It was such a hot and dusty day but the fun we head was incomparable. It was a blast to say the least. Needless to say I was on the swings and playing ball with the children and little old me had a much too long nap after we got back.

Some of the children surprised me with their superior playground skills on the monkey bars. I wish I could still do that!

Earth Day 2014!

For this year our Earth Day was a small project including our KGer's. They were really excited to actually plant flowers by themselves and be able to help make Earth more "beautiful". Every child had a flower and they planted them in big pots that were later hung around the playground.

This activity really taught team work because the children were divided into groups of four and they all had to put the soil back into the pot. They worked hard and their work paid off. Making our school and Earth a cleaner more beautiful place!!
