Random pictures at school

Post three in one day! Record posting.

Foreword: Please not get upset with me because I don't know if all the children will be in the pictures... I tried my hardest but I don't go through the pictures immediately so I don't know if their all in it or not. I apologize in advance, plus in the older posts Im sure they are all in it!

We dont always do crafts...But when we do!

I know most of you guys don't understand my post titles, but theyre usually referencing a movie or famous saying...hahah!

Anyway, back to what you really want....Pictures, My Precious! (Another movie saying)

Ok, so this semester crafts have been a daily if not every other day type of thing. The children love it...and it really enforces the ideas that we are taking in class. Along with our actual activities their learning capacity has doubled since last semester (boorrring!).

Dinosaurs...Dinosaurs! So many possibilities. Moving feet and head really made it special!

The ugly duckling. The children love love loved this story sooo much. They learned a lot from it, especially the difference between a duck and a swan. So as a craft they made these beautiful swans out of ... you guessed it, toilet paper. Hello reuse. Bam!

Another ode to the ugly duckling. We wrote you are beautiful. "you are" were our words of the week and obviously we don't go around calling people ugly so we wrote you are beautiful. Everyone stamped their hand print on it. wohooo!

Oh my God! Don't you just wish you were in Kindergarten. I know I dooo!

Next up, Picture Spam; capturing the children when they least expect it, makes for beautiful and timeless pictures.

These few weeks have been a blast!!

These last few weeks have been spectacular. From crafts to activities to digging up old bones to watching movies. We've been rocking and it looks like this semester is only going to get bigger and better. Make sure your shoelaces are tied up well cuz we've got a lot of pictures to share. Show your little ones their pictures and have them tell you the story behind it. Inspiration comes from little things sometimes.

Some of the other classes had lots of help making their crafts. In KG2 International the children did their own work. I literally threw piles of crafting  materials and let them go where their imagination took them. If they wanted letters on their boats...they got it! Amazing.

Ms....we found real bones! Were there dinosaurs at this school? Wow...this is sooo cool! Ms. where did the bones come from?
This is what the children told me while we were knee deep in sand...getting dirty like the real paleontologists do when they look for bones. We had an amazing time, thank you so much for all of your cooperation sending the bones. They really were a great part of our learning about dinosaurs. Sorry not everyone is the two pictures my camera range is  no excellent.

Ahhh, the infamous movie/pajama day! What a joy! Although, later it became something of the ACT BAD DAY! hahah, the kids had fun...that's all that matters...I guess! The movie they watched was the BBC special for Walking with Dinosaurs. I recommend you all watch it again with your children, and explain the movie to them and answer any questions they might have.

I hope you enjoyed this...next up, crafts!
